This is a great tool for me to use in my backyard! It��s heavy duty and easy to install on the wall. It saves lot of my time when I need to use the water. The product looks great and the very sturdy! The quality is great! I love it!

You CANNOT mount this to a 4x4 post. I asked that question before I set my post and the AI said "Yes". You need a 6x6 post because a 4x4 is really 3.5" and the mounting holes for the bracket are 3.25" apart on center. The screws are quite large, so after drilling 1/4" pilot holes it was too close for comfort at the edges. I had to add 2x4 blocks to each side. You will need a 7/16" socket for the heads of the screws. In the directions it says to drill a 5/16" pilot hole. That would be too big. I really like the spray nozzle patterns offered. Always shut off the water first then recoil holding onto the hose. Mine is over 100 feet from the house shut off so I put an inline on/off nozzle.

Look at this thing - you will never buy a manual hose crank reel again!

I was looking for two hose reels to replace my "battle" station old hand cranked hose reel wraps. The old ones are a pain to deal with and my 4'8" wife can't hardly crank a 75ft water hose. NOW, no worries, I put this in the ground on a 6x4 post, mounted it, and love how it works, retracts automatically, so easy to unwrap and wrap with out ever kinking the hose. I put one in the back yard and one in the front yard. This is a perfect gift for my wife. She loves it. I hope they provide several years of use, time will tell. See my pics of what I did.
